Anthony Ash

My name is Anthony Ash. I am a producer/DJ from Colorado and have loved listening to and making music my whole life. I was introduced to the rave scene in 1997 and have since taken a great interest in the production of electronic music, Drum & Bass in particular, but by no means exclusively. Shortly after my first few parties I started mixing and producing with anything I could get my hands on, keyboards, samplers, drum machines, a hand full of bargain bin records and a 4 track recorder. I started getting serious about mixing in 1999 and as I got more familiar with exactly how the music was made and arranged my production became even better.

Now I spend most of my free time working with various instruments and computer programs to produce and remix tracks on a consistent basis. My production styles change and I make anything from Drum & Bass to Downtempo. Under the name Anthony Ash I make mostly Drum & Bass, some Speed Garage, Breaks and a bit of House. Under the name Dick Dakota I produce a variety of Downtempo and instrumentals for hip hop and vocalists.
